Growing a passion into a business

I have always loved crafting, and recently, I discovered that I have a passion for making boxes, themed luminaries and party supplies.My first center piece was a train I made for my son's fourth birthday party which I made by hand out of poster board and cardstock after prototyping in small scale about three times.Now did I manage to pull off the party I was hoping for? No, there's was just too much happening at the time, and my vision was big.I had visions of multiple train center pieces and party favor destination boxes.That said, I did get something out of it. I learned to use Canva to customize my creations quickly. And Canva is wonderful for quick designs for personal use. But eventually, I felt too limited. So I purchased Affinity Designer, and it's been a wonderful tool for bringing my vision into being. I now use it exclusively for my printables. Thus, all my work is original and crafted with love.

The weekly planners on this site are made from a template I use every week to plan meals for my family and manage my schedule and my son's. While google calendar is amazing and I use it for keeping up with appointments in the moment, I discovered that I needed to physically connect with my schedule to keep up with it. The simple act of writing it down helps me absorb it. It's just how my brain works. Realizing this, I struggled to find a calendar online that had enough lines on it for a full day which I needed because momming is full time. And since, I love to create and keep things fresh. I am making the calendars in different colors and themes for myself and my friends.

I can honestly say, I love working on these projects and I am thrilled to be able to bring them to you.
